Leading from the dining room is a shaded area terrace for el fresco dining and integral pizza oven. The terrace overlooks the well maintained garden with fruit trees etc The pool is within a walled area for security and is well maintained for your use. Sun loungers and umbrellas are there for your use. both garden and pool area are very private and secure. The entrance to the property is via secure gates leading to gravel drive and parking area. The nearest picturesque village of Regusse is approximately 2Km from the villa with restaurants and bars/cafe's, bakers and small foods shop. The nearest supermarket is just outside of the village of regusse with everything you would normally need. The nearest town is Aups with fine restaurants market and bars/cafe's. Just north of the villa at approximately 20Km are the wonderful and very picturesque lakes and gorges du verdon. Here you can swim in the clearest water ever seen or hire all kinds of water craft such as cats,dinghies,canoes,pedalo's etc etc. This area is bountiful of visual delights for the driver to the walkers of which there are numerous marked routes for the hiker in you. Fishing is also available in the lakes of the area and in the rivers nearby. you will need to purchase a fishing licence for the day or for the week. If you are a photographer or painter, you will be spoilt for choice between the view and for the original features of local villages. Therefore, if you decide to rest at the vila or tour the area on day trips this is the best of both worlds |
